While researching at graphics workplace Daglicht and metal casters Beeldenstorm in Eindhoven, Anna J. van Stuijvenberg took a black and white photograph of the Assenede location and transformed it into a line drawing; also b/w. This time the tree line and the bushes were the basis for a new work. The artist screen-processed the line drawing on large sheets of paper.

Like in her work with felt, this work too was one of many layers. Using just two different lines, two different colours of ink and partly covering the piece with newspaper while printing, she achieves infinite depth. There appears to be space between the lines and the various print runs.

During the presentation, the large sheets (2x1 meters) were positioned freely in the room. They achieved their original form again, creating a column-like structure with space between them to walk through. She has recreated a group of trees – a forest fit for amazement and new discoveries. There was wonderment about the many hues of silver and grey, the various thicknesses of the lines. But also about the new organic shapes and the independent lives they began to live.
